Fun DIY Summer Drinks

The rising temperature right now is just about to drive anyone sane, crazy. So it's really important to make sure to drink lots of fluids throughout the day to prevent dehydration or heatstrokes from occuring! Thus, TANGS presents the easiest (and fun) way to cool your body down, hydrate and get some health benefits out of it too!



Try out some of these interesting recipes to keep cool this summer!

  RECHARGE YOUR ENERGY
  Summer heat can cause one to be lethargic and lazy,
  that’s why they call it a lazy summer afternoon right?
  Here’s a simple and great drink that can boost your
  energy and recharge that battery of yours!

  What you need (Serves 2 -3 pax):
  1 Cucumber
  3-5 Strawberries
  ½ Lemon
  1 Orange
  1 Litre of water
   2 Cups of ice

  Steps:
  1. Slice the cucumber, strawberries, lemon and orange
  2. Add ingredients into the water
  3. Add the ice to the mixture
  4. Leave it to infuse for at least 15 minutes before
      drinking

IMPROVE YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM
This next drink is definitely a god sent for those
of you who find yourselves falling ill whenever
summer comes around. Boost your immune
system with all things natural, forget the pills!

What you need (Serves 2 -3 pax):
1 Cucumber
5-8 Strawberries
6-8 Basil Leaves
1 Litre of water
2 Cups of ice

Steps:
1. Slice the cucumber and strawberries

2. Tear up the basil leaves ( or leave them whole )
3. Add ingredients into the water 
4. Add the ice to the mixture
5. Leave it to infuse for at least 15 minutes
    before drinking

Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Water

This drink is the epitome of detox water; it's a best kept secret in the fitness world! The use of Apple Cider Vinegar helps to kill bacteria and clean up your intestines all at the same time. Another great trick is that if you have acne problems, this amazing drink also helps to clear that right up! It's an amazing all in one, clean your body inside and out drink that you definitely should try this summer. 

What you need ( Serves 2 - 3 pax) 
2 Apples 
1 Orange
3 Cinnamon sticks 
2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Litre of water 
2 Cups of ice

Steps 
1. Slice the Apples and Orange
2. Add ingredients into the water
3. Add Cinnamon sticks into the mixture

4. Add 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar 
5. Add the ice to the mixture
6. Leave it to infuse for about 15 mintues before drinking

Starberry, Cucumber, Lime and Mint Detox Water

The drink is the perfect combination of antioxidants and anti-ageing properties! Strawberries are rich in antioxidants that are great for your skin while lime is a great weapon against anti-ageing due to its restorative properties taht are great for your hair, skin and nails. Throw in some mint and cucumber and you have a power pack drink that not only takes care of you on the outside but on the inside as well. 

What you need ( Serves 2 - 3 pax) 
5-8 Strawberries
1 Cucumber
1 Lime 
6-8 Mint leaves
1 Litre of water 
2 Cups of ice

Steps 
1. Slice the Strawberries, Cucumber and Lime
2. Tear up the Mint leaves 
3. Add ingredients to the mixture

4. Add the ice to the mixture
5. Leave it to infuse for about 15 mintues before drinking
