TANGS Membership Terms & Conditions

  1. You may only register and hold one TANGS Membership at any one time. This Membership is non transferable.
  1. You may join as an Insider with no minimum spend required. Your TANGS Membership will be automatically upgraded to the Classic Membership with minimum $80 nett purchase in a single receipt or to the Preferred Membership with a minimum spend of S$5,000 within 12 months.
  1. To apply for the Classic Membership or the Preferred Membership, you must either (i) present your receipts together with your application form and NRIC/Passport/Long Term Pass to the Customer Service counters at TANGS at Tang Plaza L3 and TANGS VivoCity L1.
  1. The Classic Membership will be valid for 1 year. You must make at least one purchase before the expiry date to extend the Classic Membership for another year. Otherwise your Classic Membership will be converted to an Insider Membership.
  1. The Preferred Membership will be valid for 1 year. You must spend at least S$5,000 over a period of 12 months before the expiry date to extend the Preferred Membership for another year. Otherwise your Preferred Membership will be converted to a Classic Membership.
  1. All eligible spend must be at TANGS at Tang Plaza (except F&B outlets at TANGS), TANGS VivoCity, TANGS.com or Island Cafe, and you must present the TANGS Card or TANGS Virtual Card or your NRIC/Passport/Long Term Pass at the point of payment for each purchase. Any eligible spend will be based on the nett balance after payment has been made with TANGS gift cards, TANGS gift vouchers, any other promotional vouchers and/or redemption of previously earned rebates.
  1. You must present your TANGS Card or TANGS Virtual Card to enjoy your Classic or Preferred Member benefits.
  1. TANGS Card or TANGS Virtual Card must be presented at the point of payment to earn or redeem rebates. You may also earn TANGS rebates by presenting your NRIC/Passport or Long Term Pass at the point of payment.
  1. Rebates in the form of TANGS Dollars (T$) are issued on purchases at TANGS at Tang Plaza (except F&B outlets at TANGS), TANGS VivoCity, TANGS.com or Island Cafe, except for purchases paid in installments.
  1. Every eligible S$10 (rounded down to the nearest S$10) spent at TANGS at Tang Plaza (except F&B outlets at TANGS), TANGS VivoCity or TANGS.com entitles you to an instant 6% rebate or T$0.60 if you are a Classic Member or 10% or T$1.00 if you are a Preferred Member.
  1. Every eligible S$10 (rounded down to the nearest S$10) spent at Island entitles you to receive an instant 10% rebate or T$1.00 as a Classic Member or a Preferred Member.
  1. The rebate expiry cycle entitles you to redeem the rebates earned in a single month for 12 months from the month in which the rebates are earned. Rebates that are unredeemed within the stipulated periods will be forfeited upon expiry. Example: Unredeemed rebate earned in Nov 2016 will be valid until Oct 2017.
  1. Services like delivery and alterations are not entitled to rebates.
  1. Rebates are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  1. Rebates will be earned only on the nett balance after payment has been made with TANGS gift cards, TANGS gift vouchers, any other promotional vouchers and/or redemption of previously earned rebates.
  1. By providing your personal information to us, you have given us permission to contact you for marketing purposes via the contact preferences chosen by you. You may opt-out of any of these preferences at any time. Some of your contact information may be shared with third-party companies that provide TANGS with marketing assistance. Please refer to our privacy policy.
  1. Where a TANGS Card is lost, stolen or damaged, you must inform TANGS immediately either through TANGS.com or the Customer Service counters at TANGS at Tang Plaza L3 and TANGS VivoCity L1 for assistance in blocking your card from further usage. The TANGS Card may be replaced at a replacement fee of S$10. TANGS will not be accountable for any consequences and loss of benefits and/or privileges.
  1. Any change of personal particulars may be made either through TANGS.com or the Customer Service counters at TANGS at Tang Plaza L3 and TANGS VivoCity L1.
  1. All terms and conditions of TANGS Return Policy will apply to all purchases made by you. If you obtain refund for any items for which rebates have been credited, the equivalent number of rebates for the items returned will be deducted from your account. In the event that the rebate amount in your account is insufficient to deduct the rebates, the equivalent amount will be deducted from the refund amount of the items. You are required to present the TANGS Membership Card when making a purchase refund at Exchange and Returns.
  1. If you obtain refund for items which are part of the transactions used for TANGS Membership activation, TANGS reserves the right to require additional purchases to be made within the next 30 days in order to meet the entry criteria. Failure to do so may result in the TANGS Membership being revoked or downgraded. In such cases, all rebates will be void and cancelled and reapplication for TANGS Membership will be subjected to the prevailing entry criteria.
  1. TANGS reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions governing the TANGS Membership Programme and any privileges and benefits of TANGS Membership without prior notice.
