Apr – SEVIIN at TANGS wins Singapore Women’s Weekly’s Annual Spa Awards 2013 “Best All-In-One Spa Destination Award”.

Apr – TANGS Orchard wins Excellence Award for "We Welcome Families" Awards 2013 by Business for Families Council and TANGS VivoCity wins the Achievement Award.

June – SEVIIN at TANGS wins “Best New Boutiques” in ELLE BEAUTY IT LIST 2013, an annual editorial special that recognises the best in beauty.

Nov – TANGS Orchard and TANGS VivoCity wins the SERVICE Gem Award for the Retail Industry Mystery Shopping Programme (RIMS13).

Oct – TANGS wins Singapore Experience Award 2012 for Most Innovative Marketing Initiative.  This was awarded for Elephant Parade Singapore 2011 at TANGS the Christmas Store.

May – TANGS Orchard awarded the Premium Service GEM Award 2012 under the “Retail Industry Mystery Shopping Programme” by Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) for customer service excellence. TANGS VivoCity was awarded the Service GEM Award 2012.

March – TANGS wins 2 prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards. “Best Shopping Experience – Department Store” & “Best New Retail Concept – Dressing Room”.

March – The institute of Public Relations Singapore presented TANGS with a Merit award for “Best Events Management” for “The New TANGS Levels 2 & 3. A Revolutionary Fashion Vision – Launch Party”.

April – In recognition of exemplary service capabilities, SPRING Singapore awarded TANGS with Singapore Service Class Award. It is conferred on the best of the best organizations who provide world-class service excellence and service capabilities.

2005

April - TANGS was awarded Retail Security - Safe Shopping Award 2005 by the Singapore Retailers Association.

October - TANGS was awarded the inaugural SPBA (Singapore Promising Brand Award) Heritage Brand Award 2005. This award is organized by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and it serves to acknowledge and pay special tribute to home grown brands which have embraced exceptional brand practices over a period of 40 years.

October – “A Revolutionary Fashion Vision. The New TANGS Levels 2 & 3” was awarded “Best Retail Concept of the Year” by the Singapore Retailers Association.

November – TANGS was awarded 109 Excellent Service Awards in total – 8 Star, 17 Gold and 84 Silver Awards

2004

March – Institute of Public Relations Singapore (IPRS) awarded TANGS the Excellence Award (Best Events Management) for TANGS 70th Anniversary Celebrations. Among the three finalists, TANGS was one of 2 that won the Excellence Award.

March – Finalist for the Most Memorable Shopping Experience - Retail Outlet Award organised by Singapore Tourism Board. 

April – TANGS was awarded the Retail Security - Safe Shopping Award 2004 by the Singapore Retailers Association.

October – The Singapore Retailers Association awarded TANGS the Best Retail Event of the Year Award for its TANGS The Christmas Store 2003 – “A Time for Sayang-Sayang” campaign.

May – The Model Workers Award 2003 was conferred in May. Jointly organised by NTUC, supported and sponsored by the Retail Promotion Centre, Singapore National Employers Federation, Singapore Retailers Association, and the Textile and Fashion Federation Singapore, it is to recognise contributions of outstanding workers.

TANGS was awarded the Retail Courtesy Gold Award 2002 by the Singapore Kindness Movement.

Winner of the Institute of Advertising, Singapore Hall of Fame Awards for Point of Sale Campaign of the Year for TANGS 70th Anniversary Campaign.

This award recognises the use of the best point-of-sale material that helped establish or promote a brand in the market.

2001

January – TANGS won the prestigious Pan-Asian Global Innovator Award (gia) and subsequently named one of the top five best housewares retailers in the world by the International Housewares Association of North America and 16 leading retail trade publications. This award was created to honour excellence in housewares merchandising - from product depth to merchandise displays and techniques, in-store and external promotions, customer service and employee training. A total of 17 international housewares stores, including America’s Target, Australia’s David Jones and TANGS, were chosen to participate in this distinguished competition.

TANGS was awarded the Retail Security-Safe Shopping Award 2001 by the Singapore Retailers Association.

October – TANGS emerged the Winner of the inaugural Mid-Autumn Display Competition organised by the Orchard Road Business Association and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board. In this competition, TANGS beat nine other entries from various retail and food establishments for its contemporary interpretation of the Mid-Autumn theme.

December – TANGS was awarded Third prize in the Singapore Tourism Board’s “Best Decorated Building Competition 2001” for its Christmas theme titled “Memories of Shanghai”.
